Bakeries
Retail Bakeries are often found in city retail store blocks and few are stand alone. These tend to be locally owned and bake product on site. Energy costs in bakeries are high including HVAC, storage cooling etc. It would help to keep the retail section of the store separate from the remainder as it is easier to keep conditions right for the customer. A simple ventilation system is usually sufficient to deal with most temperature highs and lows as it is most cost-effective. Portable cooling is also an option for, especially difficult periods.
Schools
School performance of students is highly correlated with outside tempratures. A recent Harvard study found that a student’s performance dropped by one percent for every degree warmer than a specific temprature.
Factories
International studies have shown that productivity in factories decreases by as much as four percent for every degree it increases above 27 degrees (c) [internal] . Intelligent Cooling Solutions will be able to safeguard any factory premises against such reduction in productivity by introducing a fixed or portable air cooler to the challenging area
Restaurants
Style and comfort are two of the most important elements in any successful restaurant. A relaxing and comfortable temperature can be assured with Cooling Solution’s products.
Warehouses
Warehouses are heat traps in the summertime and make it difficult for workers to do their work productively. Times of high temperatures can pose a massive risk to the profitability of that warehouse. Cooling Solutions also provide a bespoke solution for plasma warehouses.
Hotels
Like restaurants, hotels are required to provide a consistent and comfortable temperature for all its guests. Cooling Solutions have a long and esteemed history in providing Ireland’s hotels with its cooling solutions.
Benefits of Air Cooling:
Evaporative Cooling can be used to keep temperatures low during the warm summers when we can experience temperatures of 20C-25C for prolonged periods.
Without the ability to cool incoming ambient air, inside temperatures can rise very rapidly and can easily exceed 30C in retail, school, hotel or industrial settings. A roof-mounted evaporative cooler will cool large quantities of air for a small cost, typically 20,000 cu. Meters/hr for approx 0.20cent for electricity and water.
This system can also be retrofitted to existing AHU and is a much more effective solution than investing is a chiller.
In Ireland when temperatures increase during the summer the humidity levels will drop thus a 25C day in this country will typically have a humidity level of 50/60%, thus allowing for large cooling drops.
